Africa-Press – Uganda. The Inspectorate of Government has launched three landmark documents aimed at strengthening institutional efficiency and advancing Uganda’s anti-corruption agenda.

Earlier today, the Head of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, Brig. Gen. Henry Isoke, joined fellow anti-corruption agency heads at the invitation of the Inspector General of Government, Lady Justice Naluzze Aisha Batala, to witness the launch of the Inspectorate of Government Strategic Plan FY 2025/26–2029/30, the Client Charter, and the Human Resource Policy and Procedures Manual (2026).

In her remarks, Naluzze emphasized that the documents are fully aligned with Uganda Vision 2040, the Tenfold Growth Strategy, the Fourth National Development Plan, and the NRM Manifesto 2026–2031.

She noted that the frameworks are designed to deliver measurable anti-corruption outcomes and strengthen accountability systems in pursuit of a corruption-free Uganda.

The Chief Guest, Jane Kyarisiima Mwesigwa, Deputy Head of Public Service, commended the Inspectorate for setting a clear strategic direction, underscoring the importance of institutional planning and human resource reforms in improving public service delivery.

The event drew high-level officials from key accountability institutions, including Hajj Yunus Kakande, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the President; Justice Michael Elubu, Head of the Anti-Corruption Division of the High Court; Mr. Lino Anguzu, Director of Public Prosecutions; and Mr. Edward Akol, Auditor General.

Also present were the Deputy Inspectors General of Government, Mrs. Anne Twinomugisha Muhairwe and Dr. Patricia Achan Okiria; Secretary to the Inspectorate, Mrs. Rose Kafeero; Deputy Director CID, SCP Beata Chelimo; and Mr. Marlon Agaba, Executive Director of the Anti-Corruption Coalition Uganda, among other stakeholders.
