Africa-Press – Uganda. The Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) national chairman Lawrence Okae is dead.
Okae passed away at about 10:00 am on Monday morning at Naguru Hospital according to his daughter Becky Okae.
According to the daughter, Okae had been hospitalised with pneumonia.
“It is true daddy has passed on and the body is still at Naguru Hospital,” Becky Okae told New Vision.
Okae was born in Gweri sub-county, Soroti district.
