Africa-Press – Uganda. Adrine Kobusingye has been endorsed as the National Chairperson for NRM Women league by leaders and members of the Karamoja sub-region.

The endorsement comes as she intensifies efforts to unseat incumbent Lydia Wanyoto in the upcoming national elections.

Kobusingye was warmly welcomed during her visit to the region, with several regional league members expressing strong support for her candidacy.

Many pledged their votes, citing her fresh vision and commitment to grassroots engagement.

“I am humbled by the support from Karamoja,” Kobusingye told supporters during a rally. “When elected, I will stay close to the base, especially our women, and work to ensure projects meant for their empowerment are not only implemented but impactful.”
