Africa-Press – Uganda. KCB Bank Uganda has launched a 120-day nationwide campaign, “Kyaddala ne KCB,” aimed at boosting financial inclusion, rewarding customers, and promoting a culture of saving among Ugandans.

The campaign targets both new and existing customers, encouraging them to embrace consistent saving habits while enjoying the opportunity to win prizes. Open to all Ugandan citizens aged 18 and above with valid national IDs, the initiative is designed to promote regular saving through KCB’s banking services.

Sheila Awori, Acting Head of Marketing and Communications at KCB Bank Uganda, said the campaign underscores the bank’s dedication to nurturing a savings-oriented mindset.

“As a bank for the people, we are investing in a future where saving becomes a lifestyle,” Awori said. She explained that new customers simply need to open a KCB account, deposit at least shs 100,000, and maintain weekly deposits of the same amount throughout the campaign period.

Existing customers can also participate by continuing to make weekly deposits of at least shs100,000 in their accounts.

She emphasized that consistent savers stand a chance to win exciting monthly rewards, with higher deposits increasing their chances of winning.

Weekly top depositors at every branch will be rewarded instantly with branded gifts. Regional monthly winners will also receive shopping vouchers and school fees contributions as part of the rewards package.

The campaign will culminate in October 2025 with a grand draw featuring major prizes. Top savers will have the chance to win a plot of land courtesy of Bakaima Real Estate Agents, an electric bike with comprehensive insurance, a cow, and a variety of KCB-branded merchandise.

Winners will be selected through random draws supervised by KCB’s Audit team. Notifications will be delivered through SMS, calls from KCB’s official contact centre (0800311411), and via KCB Uganda’s official social media pages.

Investment groups are also included in the campaign. The first 100 investment clubs and SACCOs to register for KCB Simba Invest will benefit from free registration, and the first 50 groups will receive an additional incentive with their initial deposits doubled.

Awori noted that this campaign goes beyond just prizes, saying it is about strengthening financial discipline and demonstrating KCB’s commitment to supporting its customers’ financial growth.

“This campaign is about financial discipline and showing our customers that KCB values them and is committed to accompanying them on this journey,” she said.

Through Kyaddala ne KCB, KCB Bank Uganda aims to deliver meaningful, customer-centric banking solutions while making financial wellness accessible to Ugandans across the country.
