Africa-Press – Uganda. The Director of the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) Tom Magambo ,has delivered a lecture to 1,114 secondary school teachers from Western Uganda undergoing a patriotism training course at Ntare School in Mbarara.
In his presentation, the CID chief highlighted the historical context of Uganda’s development journey, outlining the country’s strategic priorities and the importance of nurturing national values among educators.
He emphasised the historical mission of strengthening patriotism, Pan-Africanism, strategic security, and socio-economic transformation as pillars for building a prosperous Uganda.
The training is part of ongoing government efforts to instill patriotism and civic responsibility among teachers, who are viewed as key influencers in shaping the mindset and values of the younger generation.
