Africa-Press – Uganda. Node Group and the U.S. Exchange Alumni Network Uganda (USEA) have signed a strategic public relations partnership aimed at advancing leadership, civic engagement, entrepreneurship, and educational excellence across Uganda.

USEA is a national network of more than 6,000 alumni of U.S. government-funded exchange programs who are actively driving innovation, leadership, and community transformation across the country.

The partnership is anchored in a shared belief that effective communication is a powerful catalyst for social change. By aligning their strengths, Node Group and USEA seek to enhance visibility, unlock new opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to national conversations on development, inclusion, and civic participation.Under the agreement, Node Group will provide comprehensive public relations and communications support to USEA. This includes strategic media planning, press engagement, event publicity, project implementation support, and overall communications management.

Node Group welcomed the collaboration, noting that the partnership will not only elevate brand visibility but also build strong goodwill by supporting USEA’s impactful initiatives.

For more than six decades, U.S. government exchange programs have empowered over 6,000 Ugandans, fostering leadership, innovation, advocacy, research, and community-driven development.

“This partnership amplifies USEA’s legacy while reinforcing Node Group’s commitment to visionary, purpose-driven initiatives,” said Ian Rumanyika, Chief Executive Officer of Node Group. “By joining forces, we are plugging our brand into the collective heartbeat of Uganda’s most daring visionaries.”Speaking on behalf of USEA, its President, Owomugisha Blessing Immaculate, underscored the strategic value of the partnership, particularly as the network expands its footprint nationwide.

“Our mission at USEA is to champion sustainable community transformation led by Ugandans who have benefited from U.S. exchange and education programs,” she said. “As we establish Community Resource Centers across Uganda’s regions to support learning and development, Node Group’s amplification will be critical in attracting the right partners and strengthening stakeholder engagement locally and internationally.”

The partnership was also welcomed by the U.S. Embassy in Uganda. Alumni Coordinator Kato Chrysestom noted that strategic collaborations are vital in sustaining and scaling the impact of exchange alumni.

“USEA continues to demonstrate how alumni networks can be powerful drivers of development,” he said. “Strategic communication partnerships like this one with Node Group will help extend that impact even further.”

USEA brings together professionals who apply skills and experiences gained in the United States to drive positive change across key sectors, including governance, entrepreneurship, education, health, media, and civil society. The partnership marks a major milestone in strengthening alumni-led development and impactful storytelling that inspires national progress.
