Africa-Press – Uganda. The National Unity Platform (NUP) has released its final list of successful candidates for the Buganda region, following the handling of petitions and re-evaluation of applicants in selected constituencies.
According to a statement issued by the party, the successful candidates have been cleared to proceed with the submission of their nomination forms to the NUP Headquarters in Makerere–Kavule for official endorsement.
The process is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 14, and Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
“The successful candidates may now proceed to bring their nomination forms to the Party Headquarters (Makerere-Kavule) for endorsement,” the party noted.
NUP also clarified that, apart from a few exceptional cases where no successful candidate has yet been announced, candidates from all regions are encouraged to submit their forms within the stated dates. The exercise follows an internal vetting
