Africa-Press – Uganda. The National Unity Platform (NUP) has reaffirmed its confidence in Veronica Nanyondo, handing her the party flag to contest as Woman Member of Parliament for Bukomansimbi District in the 2026 elections.
Nanyondo’s political journey began in 2016 under extraordinary circumstances following the tragic death of her elder sister, Susan Namaganda, who then served as Bukomansimbi’s Woman MP.
