Africa-Press – Uganda. President Museveni has commended the banking and financial services sector for their contribution to the economy and their support of the National Development Plan. This was during a meeting with the uganda bankers Association at the state house Entebbe. The meeting discussed among other things, issues of the economy, the national development plan, Africa’s purchasing power, and borrowing. The Bankers’ Association chairperson Sarah Arapta noted that the main focus of the financial services sector is to support government development plans like the parish development model, digital transformation, and commercial agriculture
