Trial case of Rwenzururu king, Charles Wesley Mumbere and his co-accused subjects has been postponed again due to the absence of the trial judge, causing disappointment among the subjects that attended.

The Court was attended mostly by some of the prosecution and the defence lawyers, some Rwenzururu Ministers, led by their Premier, Joseph Kule Muranga.

Only five of the accused, the Rwenzururu king (accused one), former acting Prime Minister, Johnson Thembo Kitsumbire, appeared in court.

The three juveniles granted bail in February 2017, Crispo Muhindo, Dan Bwambale and Mbusa Bughura, also appeared.Addressing the media after the Court Registrar, Fred Wandinda, announced the scientifically attended Court, the Rwenzururu Prime minister, Joseph Kule Muranga, said “delayed Justice is equivalent to justice denied.””Trial Judge, Justice Eva Luswata, was reportedly indisposed,” the Rwenzururu Attorney-General, Alfred Makasi, said.
