The Namirembe Bishop, Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira, has asked youths to stop the habit of destroying posters of the contesting candidates which he said it invites violence in the community.
He made the remarks at St Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe during the Christmas service.
“It worries me when I see youths involving in violence. This should stop because if they want peace in the country, they should first create it,” he added.
He also asked Christians to continue observing the Covid-19 directives, saying cases have increased because take the disease for granted.
