Africa-Press – Uganda. Vivo Energy Uganda has launched a new campaign named , “Ebyakabi Nze Abirina #SityaMbeera,” aimed at providing innovative solutions tailored to meet the demanding needs of riders nationwide.

This campaign highlights two premium Shell products, Shell Advance motorcycle engine oil and Shell FuelSave, designed to help riders go further for less.

Speaking during the launch, Francis Kayoki, the Lubricants Sales Manager at Vivo Energy Uganda shared that Shell Advance is designed with active cleansing and superior formulation to offer complete protection for motorcycle engines even in the most challenging conditions such as hot temperatures, dust, hilly terrain, traffic jams and muddy paddles.

Raymond Wagaba, the Frontline Technical Support Executive at Vivo Energy Uganda underscored the importance of using quality oils for motorcycles.

“Quality oils like Shell Advance have cleansing technology, making sure that there is cleaning of the engine. By cleaning the engine, we make sure all the engine spots are cleaned out of the soot, the dust since we drive in very dirty environments which lead to deposits and dirt causing friction and corrosion,” Wagaba said.

He said by using quality oils, the engine is cleaned and in return, the rider is saved from maintenance costs.

“This oil is also made in such a way that it is three in one, having additives for the clutch and also for the gearbox. Some riders keep using motor vehicle engine oils, which is wrong. So quality oil makes sure your clutch is smooth, and also your gear shifting is also smooth and also fast. That’s why we tell you that you have good control of your motorcycle when you’re riding, and in the end, you have a comfortable and enjoyable ride for customers,” Wagaba said.

He explained that Shell Advance oil goes for 5,000 kilometres ensuring it gives enough time to riders to use the bike.

“You make money on it without frequent servicing. Our oil is thick, which makes it good for both old and new bikes. For the old bikes it prevents oil leakages and then for the new bikes, it also rises easily when you’re starting your bike. It also saves your engine from over wearing and friction.”

Geoffrey Elyanu, the Supply and Distribution Manager who represented the Vivo Energy Uganda’s

Managing Director emphasised the company’s dedication to continued growth.

“Ebyakabi Nze Abirina #SityaMbeera” is a promise that with Shell’s power combo, drivers hold the winning formula to keep moving strong, never to miss a moment, and to ride with peace of mind.
