Africa-Press – Zambia. Some residents of Lusaka’s Mazyopa area have expressed concern over the rising sale of leftover chicken bones collected from restaurants in shopping malls.
This comes after 18 people were hospitalised last weekend after consuming the leftover chicken bones.
Some of the victims, who have since been discharged, told ZNBC News that individuals involved in the trade repackage and sell the leftover chicken bones to community members at prices ranging from 5 to 10 Kwacha.
