Africa-Press – Zambia. The Ministry of Education has instituted investigations into a viral video involving a pupil at Senanga Day Secondary School in Western Province.
The pupil, who has since been identified, was filmed engaging in a heated exchange with teachers, during which he allegedly used abusive language.
Ministry Assistant Director of Communications Kunda Mando said pupils are expected to conduct themselves in a disciplined manner in line with established school regulations.
Ms. Mando also emphasized that teachers are required to adhere to professional ethics as prescribed in the education system.
She told ZNBC News that a report on the matter has been submitted to the Provincial Education Officer, and that appropriate administrative action will be taken.
