Africa-Press – Zambia. North Western province Patriotic Front Youth Chairman Amnion Hara has predicted that the former ruling party is bouncing back to power in 2026. Addressing hundreds of youths who gathered at the party office in Solwezi after the match past in commemoration of the Youth Day yesterday, Mr Hara said the party in the province is still intact despite being in opposition.
“2026, tulebwelelapo!! Pantu PF ichiliko kaili PF intu yakosa,” said Mr Hara as youths eulogised in unison. He encouraged the youths and the general party membership to remain united and continue recruiting new members.
Meanwhile, during the match past, a fracas ensued when UPND youths provoked the peaceful PF who outnumbered them in full view of the Provincial Minister Robert Lihefu and his entourage which included the UPND provincial chairperson and Government Chief Whip Stafford Mulusa, the Permanent Secretary Col Grandson Katambi and his DPS Naomi Tatemashimba. But the PF youths restrained themselves despite being continuously provoked.
