Africa-Press – Zambia. As a youth advocate, I am calling on the New Dawn government through ZICTA and ministry of information to ask internet service providers in Zambia to hike all prices for data bundles in order to prevent Adolescent from scrolling through the internet all the time.
My statistical research shows that 80% plus youths in Zambia have easy access to internet which as a result makes them to be less productive and also contributing to moral decay when they surf obscene material like pornography online. Most young people have easy access to pornography, reduced physical activity, internet addiction disorder etc.
If network companies increase the prices for internet data bundles, young people won’t afford hence they will channel that energy to other productive activities which will contribute to our booming economy. The key here is moral boosting benefits, amongst the Zambian youths.
Zambia is a Christian nation and that title is not only backed up by speaking in tongues every Sunday but by also correcting other citizens such that youths in particular who are not in order. “K5 toktime should cost K50” suggested Tuza Mukuka
