Africa-Press – Zambia. Grace Chanda will lead the attack as the Copper Queens take on the Morocco Women’s national team in an international friendly at the Moulay Abdellah in Rabat.
The Kazakhstan based forward will lead the attack alongside Misozi Zulu and Natasha Nanyangwe. Skipper Barbra Banda has been rested by coach Bruce Mwape and will start on the bench with Maweta Glory Chilenga, Avell Chitundu and Esther Siamfuko.
Evarine Susan Katongo starts in midfield with Irene Lungu and Mary Wilombe. Hazel Nali starts between the sticks with Margaret Belemu, Martha Tembo, Agness Musesa and Lushomo Mweemba make up the back four.
Kick off is set at 21:00 CAT with the match live on ZNBC TV 1. Both teams are preparing for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will run from July 2-23.
The Top four teams at the AWCON which will run from July 3-23 in Morocco will qualify for the World Cup that will be held in Australia and New Zealand next year. Two more teams will be involved in play-offs with teams from other continents.
