Africa-Press – Zambia. The Constitution Court has reversed the decision of the High Court, which nullified the election of Patriotic Front Mkushi Member of Parliament Christopher Chibuye.
In November 2021, the High Court nullified the election of Mr. Chibuye following a petition from UPND losing candidate Topson Kunda. Mr. Chibuye was accused of engaging in electoral malpractice. But Mr. Chibuye appealed to the constitutional court against the high court’s decision to nullify his seat.
