Africa-Press – Zambia. THE Lusaka Magistrates Court has refused to grant prominent Lusaka businessman, Harry Valden Findlay an application to to order the State to give him a passport to allow him sick medical attention abroad.
Magistrates Sylvia Munyinya informed Findlay that the Court had no authority over his passport as it was not before the court.
She ruled that besides, the state had indicated that the passport was a subject of evidence before court in the matter he is facing. Last Findlay applied to the court that State releases his passport in order for him to seek medically attention for his serious heart condition.
