Africa-Press – Zambia. The Zambia National team and the Chosen Team, Israel will lock horns this evening in a FIFA international friendly match. The Chipolopolo had their final training session at Hamosheva Stadium on Wednesday evening in Tel Aviv ahead of today’s match.
Coach Moses Sichone and his technical staff ran the rule through the lads in the heart of Tel Aviv. During the September FIFA window Zambia succumbed to a 1-0 loss to Mali and will look to return to winning ways.
Sinchone will however be without Stophila Sunzu, Clatous Chota Chama, Moses Phiri, Fashion Sakala Jnr, and Frankie Chisenga Musonda who ate out for one reason or another.
The former German based gaffer is still confident the available Bullets will do the job. Sekhukhune United goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata is expected to start between the sticks ahead of Lawrence Mulenga and Jeban Tembo.
In defense, Rodrick Kabwe, Benedict Chepeshi, Tandi Mwape and Dominic Chanda are expected to make the back four partnership. Benson Sakala, Klings Kangwa and Emmanuel Banda could make up the midfield trio with Rally Bwalya offering an alternative.
Lameck Banda and Lubambo Musonda are likely to join Patson Daka in attack with Edward Chilufya also available for selection. The match will kick off at 20H00 CAT at the Hamosheva Stadium and is expected to be live on Supersport. The match is being used as part of preparations for the back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Lesotho in March next year.
