Africa-Press – Zambia. NAIS- Over 20 cattle belonging to a farmer in Solwezi have died after consuming a poisonous feed mix containing urea fertilizer.
Solwezi District Fisheries and Livestock Coordinator, Manley Mazila, who visited the affected farm, confirmed the incident and urged livestock farmers to seek expert guidance before preparing feed mixtures.
Mr. Mazila emphasized the importance of safe feeding practices to prevent similar tragedies and protect livestock health.
