Africa-Press – Zambia. Dean Mung’omba was a vibrant promising politician. He only had one attempt at the presidency, in 1996 against incumbent president Frederick Chiluba. He was at the time the main opposition leader and a year later was implicated in the Captain Lungu alias Captain Solo failed coup together with late politician Princess Nakatindi Wina and First president Kenneth Kaunda. They were detained and later discharged. Unfortunately, he later died.
His party ZADECO, did not outlive him. Senior Members such as Wynter Kabimba and Sylvia Masebo left to join Zambia Republican Party (ZRP) of Benjamin Yorum Mwila popularly known as BY. No related posts.
