Africa-Press – Zambia. The fight for the leadership of the Patriotic Front has started today as Former President, Edgar Lungu arrives at Ndozo Lodge in Chawana to officiate at the PF Central Committee meeting.

According to an insider, today’s meeting will just receive names of those who want to aspire for the Party presidency but the convention will be next week or the week after.

Among the people wanting to be PF President are former Justice Minister Given Lubinda, Former Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili, Leader of the opposition in Parliament Brian Mundubile, Kamfinsa Member of Parliament Christopher Kangombe and Former Diplomat Emmanuel Mwamba.

A source close to Mr. Edgar Lungu says Mr. Lungu is inclined to the combination of Mundubile and Given Lubinda. Mr. Brian Mundubile is a business partner to Mr. Edgar Lungu and is a business partner with former ZNBC employee Faith Musonda who was found was K65million and US57000 in the house.
