Africa-Press – Zambia. Football finale embarasses African ‘prophets’ ‘PROPHETS’ of the hugely popular Evangelical ( Pentecostal) churches in Africa have woken up to an embarrassing Monday of February 7, after their highly publicised ‘prophecies’ of which country’s football team would win the Africa Cup did not come to be.

First on the unholy chair of shame is Nigerian ‘prophet’ Stephen Jarubball of the Christian Revolutionary Ministry. Prophet Jarubball, much to his credit, ‘prophesied’ that Cameroon would only play the Losers’ Final also called Third Place Playoff and not make it to the Promised Land of the Africa Cup Final.

However, despite his score on Cameroon prediction, prophet Jarubball’s claim that he had watched the final in ‘the spirit realm’ was proven a lie as Egypt, the team he claimed would win, were humbled by Senegal the new African football champions.

Not to be outdone, Zambian ‘prophet’ Enoch Kalunga also weighed in on the Holy Football predictions. ‘Prophet’ Kalunga held a live Facebook sermon in which he told people betting on the match to put their money on Egypt as God had assured him of the Pharaoh’s triumph over Senegal known as Lions of Teranga.

Prophet Kalunga even vowed to refund anyone who would follow his prophecy but lose their money as his was a sure prophecy. However, any claim that God truly told Enock anything about the game was put to shame as Egypt not only failed to win the game in the 90 minutes as ‘prophesied’ but went on to lose the match.
