Africa-Press – Zambia. Former Zambia Under-17 captain Richard Ngoma has arrived in Israel to attend trials at Maccani Netanya, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal. The 18 year old left the country on Tuesday alongside his agent Nir Karin.

“Yes, Richard is in Israel. He left on Tuesday and we hope he will do well,” a source told the ZamFoot Crew.

The left footed winger winger became an instant hit at Nkana Stadium during the second of the 2021/22 season where he spent on loan from his Atletico Lusaka.

He earned himself a nickname of Kasuli (last born) from the hard to impress Kalampa fans in Kitwe. His playing style has been compared to African legendary duo Kalusha Bwalya and Abedi Pele.

“He is not as exploisive as Abedi but their are some similarities with Ghana legend,” a ZamFoot scout who has tracked the teenage said.

“Off the pitch, he is a humble boy but a monster on the pitch. He strength are dribbling and he more of an assist king than a goal scorer.

“He needs to score more goal.

Should he sign at Maccani Netanya, the diminutive winger will join the likes of Emmanuel Mayuka, Nathan Sinkala, Rodger Kola, Justine Zulu and more recently Ngosa Sunzu, Kings Kangwa and Lameck Banda who went to Israel as 18 year old to kick start their European careers.
