Fuel shortage hits Lusaka | Zambian Eye

Africa-Press – Zambia. A fuel shortage is looming in the capital, Lusaka as some service stations have run out of the commodity. A media snap survey this morning has revealed that some stations have no petrol and diesel.

Queues could be seen building up at the few service stations with the previous liquid in their stocks. Few days ago, Chipata City suffered the same fate, though the situation is said to have improved. The country recently hiked fuel pump prices in response to the world pressures. This has been widely caused by the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
