Africa-Press – Zambia. Chaos erupted during a funeral church service in Kitwe’s Buchi Compound when two criminal gangs violently attacked mourners.
According to eyewitnesses, the gangs stormed the church armed with planks and began throwing stones, forcing the congregation to flee for safety.
Two youths who attempted to defend their families sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Kitwe Teaching Hospital.
Buchi-Kamitondo Councillor, Manda Masoka, has expressed deep concern over the incident, confirming that the matter has been reported to police for investigation.
