Africa-Press – Zambia. United States Agency for International Development (USAID) administrator Samantha Power says President Hakainde Hichilema’s commitment to the restoration of the rule of law and the fight against corruption makes him to stand out on the continent.
Ms Power, a former US ambassador to the United Nations under President Barack Obama, says Zambia is one of few African countries whose leader has openly proclaimed his determination to fight corruption and is making efforts to restore the rule of law, which had eroded the last decade.
