I APOLOGISE TO YOU ZAMBIANS…and I hope the UPND will apologize for all these ills that they are making – Kafwaya

Africa-Press – Zambia. PF presidential aspirant Mutotwe Kafwaya has apologized to Zambians for the wrongs that the UPND government has been championing in the country. Contrary to their “Zambia Forward” motto, the party has, according to some sections of society taken the country several steps backwards as far as democracy and other national pertinent issues are concerned.

Among the blunders that have make some Zambians question the direction UPND is taking the country to are the fertilizer scandal, police brutality and contracting private firms to audit the country’s defense forces.

Speaking when he and other PF Parliamentarians addressed the media today, the Lunte Lawmaker said the UPND government ought to apologize to Zambians for breaking the law even when they were advised not to.

He also apologized to the media for the way police, under the watch of the UPND government arrested a journalist from Muvi TV who went to cover EEP leader Chilufya Tayali’s arrest.

“I want to apologize to you the fourth estate. I want to apologize to you the media for the manner in which UPND police arrested innocent fellow journalist for Muvi TV,” he said.

“I thought that was poor, I thought it was bad, I thought it was inhuman, and I think that it should not happen. Can you imagine my friends? You are here covering your leaders, speaking to the nation and you are arrested. Is that a country we want to live in? I apologise to you and I hope the UPND will apologize for all these ills that they are making.”
