Africa-Press – Zambia. Some people who watched President Hakainde Hichilema’s recent interview on Hot FM say the interviewers let him off the hook easily. According to them, the interviewers were too soft on the President.
Human rights defender Laura Miti even suggested that next time the President should be interviewed by people like Grevazio Zulu whom she believes to be a tough interviewer.
“Next time, can Grevazio Zulu, Frank Mutibila, Luchi or a couple brilliant journalists that work in provincial community radio stations interview the President,” she said.
Another analyst, Tommie Hamaluba concurs describing it as had been shallow. “I agree with you today’s interview was shallow.” However, others believe the interview lived to its billing.
“The guys today did a good job.. Anything specific for suggesting the above names,” says Mwansa Maurice. President Hichilema was hosted by the station where he was interviewed on a number of issues.
