Africa-Press – Zambia. The Zambia Super League will enter week 10 of action this weekend and top of the bill is struggling Nkana welcoming defending champions, Red Arrows. Nkana is winless in their last seven games and welcomes a team that has won all their last four games.
The record 13-time Champions can however be comforted by the fact that they have only lost to the Airmen once in their last 10 meetings. Playing Nkana is always something exciting for most players and teams and the Airmen are no different.
Striker Joseph Phiri is confident his side will carry the day on Saturday at Nkana Stadium. “Playing Nkana is always exciting. You want to score and just silence their home fans. Red Arrows have the right mentality currently and we just want to keep winning regardless of our opponent,” Phiri told the Airmen’s media team.
“We will play against our opponent and not the name. And, interestingly, I always score against Nkana. I think two or more other teammates will score on Saturday in ‘Operation hit ’em Brutal’.” The Airmen will be aiming for a fifth straight win when they visit Nkana Stadium on Saturday. Kick-off is set for 15:00hrs.
