Africa-Press – Zambia. State House says it welcomes investors who not only seek profits but also have a genuine passion for empowering local communities with the aim of strengthening Zambia’s #economic growth and fostering sustainable development.
State House Chief Communication Specialist, Clayson Hamasaka says Government’s initiative is part of a broader strategy to ensure that Zambia’s economic expansion benefits all segments of society including those in underserved areas.
Mr. Hamasaka was speaking during a visit at the Golden Gates Silk Worm Farm in Mumbwa District.
He expressed pleasure that the silk farm which is part of a larger Chinese investment initiative in the agricultural sector, has employed over 350 local people.
