Africa-Press – Zambia. NEW DEFENSE MINISTER’S WIFE INSTALLED AS LUVALE CHIEF Newly appointed defense minister and Kabompo member of Parliament Ambrose Lufuma’s wife , Princess Dylis Pulu has been coronated as the new Chieftainness Kucheka of the Luvale speaking people.
Mrs Lufuma has succeed her uncle who held the thrown until last year when he passed on. The Minister’s wife hails from the Luvale royal family and was among the contestant for the Ndungu throne.
Mrs Lufuma is also the daughter to the Chief Ndungu Pulu the seventh of the Luvale speaking people. According to the Luvale culture, the defense minister is now automatically going to be given the title of “Mukwetunga” , a social status given to the husband of a Luvale chief.
