Africa-Press – Zambia. It’s windy and dusty, quite blurry to see who goes to the playoffs. Welcome to the 2022/23 Northern province Division One and the race kicks off in windy August. We kick off week one with some exciting fixtures. The ZamFoot Crew together with the Bola Yesu Crew now takes an in depth look into the games.

CHANDAMALI VS MPOROKOSO UNITED

Coming from Division two Chandamali will host Mporokoso United at Chandamali School ground on Sunday in what will be the biggest derby of week one, Welcome to our game of the weekend.

Chandamali will be playing Provincial Division One for the first time and they kick start the campaign against an experienced seasonal campaigner in Mporokoso United. Whether experience will triumph over the eagerness and drive of the newcomers.

MALALO POLICE VS TAZARA BLUE STARS

The rivalry is back, Malalo Police welcomes Tazara Blue Stars at the police ground. Malalo Police finished second last season, failing to go to the playoffs for the first time in three seasons.

Last season the two teams opened the season in a fierce clash with Malalo carrying the day, will Tazara get their revenge or Malalo will once again carry the day?

TETA F.C VS MILLIMA PIRATES

TETA FC will be hosting Millima Pirates at Chishimba ZNS ground in their opening game of the season. The Chishimba outfits are boasts of a new owner and change of name with some new found hope. Millima Pirates cemented their position in the Provincial League last season and will be looking to continue where they ended from last season.

MUNGWI HOTSPURS VS MPULUNGU YOUTH

The Martin Mwamba ground comes alive for the 2022/23 soccer season when the power of the community hosts Mpulungu Youth. Hotspurs finished the season on fourth place whilst Mpulungu Youth where third coming straight from Division two, an impressive run. Last season Mungwi Hotspurs and Mpulungu Youth will both be looking to start the season on a winning note.

ST LUKE VS MPANDE YOUTH

St Luke will host Mpande Youth Academy in their opening match of the season. Coach Lisbon’s with his youthful side will entertain St Luke at Mubanga Chipoya.

Waba Naba will be a team to watch with their passing style of play and they have made some interesting signings this window period, St Luke have prepared very wel hence we will need to wait for end of 90 minutes to know which way it will go.

MPAJI YOUTH VS NDEKE

Mpaji Youth are back in Division One through some boardroom decision.After dropping to division two last season.They welcome Ndeke at their new home ground at Kasama college. Ndeke have made some new signings to the team and could be a formidable opponent for Mpanji.

MBALA MIDSPORTS VS CHIOMBO

Mbala Midsports qualified from Division two in second position and hosts newly promoted Chiombo who finished fourth in Division two. This will be an interesting match to look out for at the Hope school ground in Mbala.

KATESHI COFFEE VS ITUNA

The Coffee Boys finished strong last season and will be hoping to kick start the new season on a high. They host Ituna at Kateshi ground. It will be interesting to see how Ituna will fair with their new signings in their season opener.

JAZZY LINERS VS KASAMA UNITED

Division two Champions Jazzy Liners kick start their first season in the provincial Division One League at home when they host the ever enterprising Kasama United. Another exciting match to watch for the fans and lovers of the Northern Province National Division One League.
