Africa-Press – Zambia. Government promises they will get their dues Monday. The Ministry of Finance has said “ZANACO has confirmed that 967 of their civil service clients have not yet been credited with February salaries.”
The treasury reveals that it has released all February salaries, but says Zanaco reported having a technical difficult — a situation government describes as “regrettable” The bank has not officially clarified the technical problem.
“Zanaco has today reported to the Ministry that this is due to a technical problem at their end. We have been assured that the matter is being handled with the expediency it deserves so that the affected persons are credited their salaries on Monday 28 February, 2022,” an update from the treasury has said.
