Africa-Press – Zambia. Over twenty (20) Commercial sex workers in Livingstone have been converted and baptized at Hillcrest SDA Church. The sex workers gave their lives to Jesus Christ during the crusades organized by Adventist World Radio (AWR) in eight different sites.
AWR President , Dr Duane Mackey expressed excitement over the life changing experience, stating that Jesus is coming soon. ” We are excited to tell others that Jesus forgives and the gospel is free. Come and accept him as the Lord and saviour. Jesus Christ gave us the commission to Preach, teach and baptize.” Dr Mackey said.
Dr Mackey has so far presented food stuffs to mitigate their transition as Adventist World Radio (AWR) makes arrangements for the ladies to have them engage in some self – sustaining economic activities.
One of the ladies whose name has been withheld has advised those who are still in the business to stop and follow Jesus Christ. AWR will continue running a series of Evangelistic Campaigns on Falls FM Radio for the next one week.
