Africa-Press – Zambia. Opposition Patriotic Front has with immediate effect suspended it’s Chair Lady for MWENSE District for continuously suggesting that PF will again lose general elections in 2026 because of concentrating on tribalism.
Speaking in Mwense yesterday Charity Mpundu said she will appeal her suspension as she did nothing wrong. “I received the letter yesterday informing of my immediate suspension and that I should leave the responsibility to PF Mobilisation Mwense Mobilisation Chair lady Madam Daines Chama. Am being victimized for saying that PF won’t win in 2026 because we have concetrated on preaching tribalism instead of apologizing to the people of Zambia for the wrongs we did in 10 yrs when we were in power.
During the ended by elections, Mr Kambwili told me to tell PF members to campaign using tribalism as that was the only way PF would bounce back but unfortunately we lost our seat to UPND. But when I say tribalism will make us lose electrons again, am suspended and being accused of sympathizing with UPND”.
