Africa-Press – Zambia. A cross section of people from different sectors have commemorated the school uniform day for the first time in the country.
Most of them have done this by wearing their former school attire.
A spot check by ZNBC News in various institutions and at some schools reveals that teachers, lawyers, journalists were participating and sharing light moments of their school days.
And Munali Girls secondary school head teacher RHODA SIAMPWIZI told ZNBC News that Munali is celebrating by hosting a special assembly session for pupils.
Ms SIAMPWIZI said the day has rekindled the memories of many people and helped show support for the education sector.
