Africa-Press – Zambia. Monze Central Member of Parliament, Jack Mwiimbu has advised people in his constituency to stop insulting him for lack of development but instead they should get empowerment packages through Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Speaking when he addressed Ufwenuka residents recently, Mr. Mwiimbu says he is aware that some people are insulting him and saying he is not working when government has provided resources.
He says maybe he should now start kneeling down to beg people to apply for grants under CDF and other empowerment packages. The Monze MP explains that government has created an enabling environment for people in rural areas to be financially stable through various empowerment initiatives. He says those who will fail to develop they have themselves to blame as government is doing what it can by making resources available.
