Africa-Press – Zambia. Police in Lusaka arrested two people for the offence of Obtaining money by false pretenses. The two suspects are alleged to have swindled a woman of Livingstone of money amounting to K23, 000 on pretext that they were selling a motor vehicle which they advertised on their Facebook page.
The woman, aged 31, agreed with the suspects to transact and travelled to Lusaka where she met the two and paid them the money. In the process of waiting for the vehicle, a Funcargo as arranged, the two suspects disappeared and immediately their phones were switched off. The incident occurred on February 22, 2023 in Lusaka.
