Patriotic Front (PF) Central Committee member in charge of Information and Publicity, Rapheal Nakachinda has sensed dictatorship in the new dawn government.
Hon Nakachinda said the main aim for the UPND is to cripple the PF. He said the arrests among the PF members is clear that UPND want to promote dictatorship by killing the party.
He said the UPND knows that the PF is the threat right now hence aiming to cripple it. Hon Nakachinda said democracy will be killed once the PF which is the strongest political party is no more.
Hon Nakachinda also disclosed that the police want to re-arrest PF Lusangazi candidate after receiving instructions from the UPND top officials. Hon speaking today when he and Msazala Constituency lawmaker Elias Daka and PF officials drummed up support for PF Council Chairperson candidate Patrick Banda.
“We are ready to be in cells in all parts of the country because this is the culture UPND want to promote,” he said.
“But I can assure the UPND that even if we are arrested we shall not stop offering checks and balances.
Zambia is a democratic country and one political party cannot kill it,”. Meanwhile Hon Daka urged the voters not to make a mistake on October 21, 2021.
He said he will only work well and develop the area if the people vote for PF Council Chairperson candidate. Hon Daka said it will be difficult to make decisions if they vote for a different candidate.
“The way you voted for me on August 12 with massive votes do the same on October 21. You will see development if we have leaders from one political party.
And PF Eastern Province Information and Publicity Secretary William Phiri is happy that PF is still strong on the ground. He thanked people for supporting the party.
