Africa-Press – Zambia. President Hakainde Hichilema has held bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia Dr Abiy Ahmed in Addis Ababa. The bilateral talks which took place on the sidelines of the African Union Heads of State summit and between the two leaders centered around peace and unity for trade and investment opportunities creation for all.
President Hichilema writes below… On the sidelines of the African Union Heads of State Summit here in Addis Ababa, we had fruitful bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Dr Abiy Ahmed on matters of mutual interest.
Zambia and Ethiopia share a lot of common values in areas such as agriculture and these were top on our agenda. We also discussed matters of peace and unity while fostering trade and investment opportunities for all.
We are grateful to the Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for the opportunity and we are optimistic that this bilateral meeting has opened avenues for a stronger and more robust relationship between our two nations. We are one people whose aspiration is to see every African and the globe succeed. God bless the People of both Zambia and Ethiopia.
