Africa-Press – Zambia. I am thinking that we are wrong about the world and why things are better than we think. But what’s on my mind today is what Kopala Lakka posted on my wall the other day and the unfortunate suicide attempts we’ve been learning about recently . I was shedding tears when i read about a woman who had to take a young life of her only son and an attempt on her own life . Then other day i also read about a beautiful young lady who took her life…tragic.

I would want you to know that you dont have to control your thoughts to what people or society wants you to comform to. Take your time to heal, take as long as you want, You should not be pressured to think you have the same healing process and time like anyone else.

When we lost elections a lot of my friends and family expected that almost like magic i will be the same person I was before the elections, such pressure can take your mind wondering in different places.

Always remember that one little crack doest mean you are broken, it means you were put to a test and you didnt fall apart. You are stronger than you think you are and trust me we are even stronger together.

Every life should matter, its time the saying “never leaving anyone behind” should actually have meaning the meaning MUST become a reality to everyone not just a government slogan.

…Remember, pay attention to one another, be kind to each other, make time to listen and understand each other , you might just save a life.

And for cause I am ready to donate a thousand Kwacha to someone or some organization dealing with mental health. By Alexander Chiteme, former Minister in PF government
