Africa-Press – Zambia. Kitwe giants, Power Dynamos have moved to the summit of the MTN Super League log table ahead of the Kitwe derby. Nkana also recorded an important win away in Choma while Green Buffaloes handed ZESCO United a 3-1 defeat.

The MTN Super League entered week 13 of action on Wednesday afternoon with eight games taking centre stage. In Kitwe, Power Dynamos welcomed Nchanga Rangers with top spot within their sights.

In-form Kennedy Musonda scored the only goal of the game to send Abayellow to the summit with 25 points ahead of the derby over the weekend. In Lusaka, Andy Boyeli scored a brace to guide Chambishi to a 2-1 win over NAPSA Stars.

The loss means NAPSA Stars are now winless in their last four games and have lost all their last three games. At Edwin Imboela Stadium, Justin Shonga scored his fourth goal of the season off a Stephen Mutama assist to rescue a point for Nkwazi following a 1-1 draw with Prison Leopards.

In Ndola, Green Buffaloes humiliated ZESCO United 3-1 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium. Robin Siame, Jack Chirwa and John Kosamu scored a goal each while Samson Mkandawire pulled one back for Zega Mambo.

The win takes Green Buffaloes upto fourth place with 23 points two adrift of log leaders Power Dynamos. Goals from Libamba Moyela and Thomas Chideu gave Forest Rangers a 2-1 win over Lumwana Radiants. Kabwe Warriors and Buildcon played to a 1-1 draw as the two teams’ poor run continues to drag on.
