Africa-Press – Zambia. Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Stanley Kakubo says Zambia and Japan are working on strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of trade.
Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) framework, is one such area in scope. He said this following a bilateral meeting with Japanese Ambassador Mizuuchi Ryuta at Charter House in Lusaka yesterday.
“We also took the opportunity to once more convey our deepest condolences to the Government and the people of Japan on the death of Shinzo Abe, the former Prime Minister who passed away on 8th July, 2022,” he said. Kakubo said Zambia and Japan will continue to enjoy excellent bilateral relations and cooperation.
