Speaking when he addressed party officials in Mansa district yesterday, Hon. Lubinda said former President Edgar Lungu was a good President and the PF loss was lesson to allow Zambians to learn the difference between a good and a bad leader.
Hon. Lubinda said former President Lungu is as strong as he was prior to the August 12 General elections. ” God wants Zambians to learn that there is a difference between a Democrat Edgar Lungu and a dictator Hakainde Hichilema.
Zambians have started realizing that former President Edgar Lungu was a good leader,” Hon. Lubinda said. ” President Lungu is as strong as he was before the August elections, he still remains determined and loves his party and the country,” He said. And Hon. Lubinda said the PF is still strong and intact and advised party members to remain calm and fearless.
” This is a time to regroup and not having blame game. PF is still very strong and that’s is why we even fielded candidates in all areas where there are by elections. We have realised that the PF made mistakes and that is why we lost the elections and we need to avoid the blame game but carryout self introspection,” Hon. Lubinda said.
” We need to regroup and forge ahead as a party. After the elections loss postmortem report is out my prayer is that all the central Committee members will be available to go out to the people and apologize for the mistakes we made and also comfort citizens who are still angry that President Lungu lost the elections, “Hon. Lubinda said.
