Africa-Press – Zambia. Digital Solutions Provider Zamtel has yesterday unveiled its new Customer Service Centre in Choma with a promise to offer convenience and superior customer experience.
The Service Centre located at the north end of Lusaka-Livingstone road in the Central Business District was officially opened by Southern Province Permanent Secretary Joyce Bwacha. Ms. Bwacha commended Zamtel for its efforts in providing affordable and quality services to the people of Choma and the entire Southern Province.
She said the Southern Province administration is committed to positioning the Province as an investment hub adding that the opening of the Zamtel Service Centre speaks to that desire to see increased investment in the province.
“Let me thank Zamtel for coming forward and opening this facility in the heart of Choma town, being the provincial capital, there is need for such services to be readily available for our people,” Ms. Bwacha said.
Ms. Bwacha said the launch of the Service Center will positively contribute to efforts by government in growing Choma’s economic opportunities and help push the developmental agenda for the district.
“The efforts by Zamtel fully speaks to His Excellency President Edgar Chagwa Lungu’s vision of taking development to all parts of the country without leaving anyone behind. Today’s opening of the Service Center is an affirmation of government’s resolve to take development to all areas and extending ICT services countrywide,” Ms. Bwacha said.
And Zamtel Senior Manager-Sales and Distribution Keith Banda said Zamtel is on an ambitious journey of ensuring that its products and services are readily available across the country.
Mr Banda said the opening of the Choma Service Centre will provide convenience to the people of Choma, Pemba and surrounding areas and urged customers to take advantage of the new Service Center by walking in and purchasing various products and services.
