Call to Worship Celebrates 17th Anniversary Event

Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. All is set for the Call to Worship Global 17th Anniversary Night of Worship, which will be held on Saturday night at Harare Gardens, with thousands of worshippers expected to gather for one of the country’s largest interdenominational Christian events.

Organisers say preparations are complete for what promises to be a powerful night of praise and powerful worship under the theme: “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power,” drawn from 1 Chronicles 29:11, a verse that exalts the majesty and sovereignty of God.

This year’s edition will feature performances from celebrated South African gospel sensation Ntokozo Mbambo, who headlines the event alongside Zimbabwe’s own multi-award-winning gospel artist Janet Manyowa, the Call to Worship Global Choir, and various local church choirs.

“It’s all systems go. The stage, sound, and logistics are in place and the response from across the country has been overwhelming,” said Apostle Philip Pike, co-founder of Call to Worship Global.

“We are expecting thousands to gather in one spirit to honour God, it will be a night of healing, unity, and restoration.”

Now marking 17 years since its inception, Call to Worship Global has grown into a dynamic interdenominational movement that unites believers from across denominations, cultures, and generations. The ministry has also trained worship leaders, raised intercessors, and used worship as a tool for transformation and national unity.

The Call to Worship Global Choir, which has been part of the movement since its formation, is also ready to take worshippers on a powerful musical journey. The choir has been rehearsing intensively for weeks and promises a vibrant, Spirit-led performance.

In addition to the main performances, various local choirs and worship groups will minister throughout the evening, adding to the diversity and depth of the worship experience.

Organisers said gates will open early for the evening event, which starts from 5:30 pm until 9pm, to allow worshippers to settle in before the evening of praise begins.

The event is free and open to people of all ages and denominations.
