Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. A four-year-old girl from Tuli, Beitbridge was found dead with a scar on her neck suggesting that she could have been murdered.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is already seized with the matter.
In a statement seen by Pindula News, police said the girl had gone missing two days before her body was discovered. Reads the report:
Police in Tuli are investigating a suspected murder in which the body of a four-year-old girl was found with a scar on the neck in a gulley on 29/09/22 at Village 12, Shashe, Beitbridge. The girl had gone missing on 27/09/22.
In a related case, police in Harare are appealing for information which may assist in the identification of a male adult who was found with a rope around the neck and legs on Saturday 01 October 2022 in Mukuvisi River near a footbridge linking Glenview Area 8 and Glennorah A.
Meanwhile, police in Harare arrested Floyd Chinamhora (48) at a house in Glenview 1, in connection with possession of an unlicensed shotgun double barrel which was found hidden under the bed.
Chinamhora was also found in possession of an air pallet gun which was stashed in a bag on top of a wardrobe. The suspect had threatened to shoot his wife during a domestic dispute.
