Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. According to the Ministry of Health and Childcare 98 people are hospitalized due to the novel coronavirus countrywide and of the hospitalized cases, 32 are severe.
In the update that notified the nation about the COVID-19 hospitalizations, the Ministry Of Health and Childcare said:
As of 18 February 2021 @1500 hrs, there were 98 hospitalised cases: Asymptomatic 4, Mild to moderate 62, severe 28, and 4 in Intensive Care Units
The update also noted that Harare recorded the highest number of new cases yesterday recording 74 of the new cases and recording 7 of the country’s 10 deaths.
All other provinces recorded 0 deaths except for Bulawayo, Harare, and Mashonaland East provinces while Matabeleland, Masvingo, and Midlands recording 0 recoveries, and Midlansa recording 0 new cases.
Different Provinces have said they are ready for the Sinopharm Vaccine that came from China early this week.
